Founded in 1988, by the will of Mauro and Ruggero Barbuio, following an important and long experience in the production of materials for dry construction systems, Atena became in few years part of the global finishing market, with the production of staves, profiles and channels for plasterboard and mineral fiber false ceilings. And it is precisely with the development of the famous Atena Steel Strong T-grid range, that the company asserts itself as the leading Italian company in the sector. It belongs to this range the Atena Easy structure with stainless steel hooking, internationally patented. In addition to these productions Atena added lay-in and clip-in tiles, open cell ceilings and special shaped modules widely appreciated in the ship fittings and metal façades markets.
